Africa Japan House is an association, a political, secular and non-profit making Non govermental organisation which was given legal recognition on 09 february 2007 with registration NO° 00055/RDA/J06/BAPP

Its goal is to contribute to a better understanding between Africans and Japanese and encourage exchanges in diverse fields. Since the creation Africa Japan House has carried out several activities, thanks to the support of the cultural affairs service of the Japanese embassy In Cameroon. These Include:

• The cinema project (projection of japanese movies and mixed concerts)​
• Logistical support to many Japanese visiting Cameroon
• Annual Japanese Language competion : Yaounde Nihongo Contesto
• Assistance and Exhibitions
• Field producer in Cameroon for several Japanese media crew.
